Mars, being one of the most technology advanced planet in 100 light years has a vast amount of farm raised food. Although not as tasty as some of the treats we recall to memory from our childhood, it is nevertheless still palatable.
Recent events though have started to affect the food market here on our thriving little planet. The new mail shipment system, after a series of important updates, now makes it simple and fun to receive care packages from home. While some hoard the precious goodies of cookies and assorted gifts, others have taken advantage of the their personal addictions.
Rumour has it that one of the most coveted black market commodity is Wendy items. Yes, that
is correct Wendys, as in the restaurant, complete with burgers, spicy chicken sandwiches and even french fries. A mystery man has ben placing orders for Wendys spicy chicken combo in particular, willing to fork out heavily for it.
While this may seem exotic it doesnt stop there, fried plantanes, star fruit and even corm sells like hot cakes. A certain Roman was seen making off with some black market pork chops. Cookster declined to comment but there was a distinct burnt hoggie smell coming from his quarters. Big Bird said he was pretty happy with Mars food and doesnt bother to cook anything that has more than five ingredients anyway.
One package that was left unmarked had a sickenly sweet stinky feet smell. BK offered to dispose of the smelly package, muttering gleefully to himself as he walked off.
Until the laws of our fine planet crack down on such black market sales, I am afraid that when packages of yummy summer sausages show up it will still be a fest. I must admit even I am not immune to the draw of black market goods. However I am more practical though and select lovely green herbs. For cooking of course.
