As promised, in this edition, LoTCookie reveals some of the secrets of both experienced and eager (in other words, fresh out of boot camp or training school) Leprechaun Chasers.
Most experts were rather reluctant at answering the question posed to them, and even pretended to not understand simple english phrases from 'what did you think helped you achieve success in this peculiar event?' to 'How you win?'. HellsCrusader put on his most bewildered face when he replied, 'If i was instructed to? Or if i was the intsructor?' His face turned sour. 'Either way... I can't be giving out my secrets.'
Either that, or subtlety. 'Watch all the Leprachaun movies and see how they defeated it there.' replied Thunder 'flexes', Earth Number Maniac, smiling thinly and shaking his head when asked to divulge more.
Others were more forthcoming with information (to a certain extent). 'First I would buy new shoes,' TelosBehindYou, aka Ambrosia in a Pickle Jar, answered. 'Purple shoes that didn't fit... and place them over a net... Never ceases to do wonders that trick.' Further requests for elaboration were denied. Waldo, Chef Extraordinaire and LoT's most popular bartender, was at odds with the whole tournament. 'Why chase the leprechaun why not just kill it ?' was his chief piece of argument. 'But if I had to try and catch it I would get one of those nets that you can shoot to try and catch it.' he reluctantly agreed.
Asdrubael, the mysterious figure who can sometimes be found stalking the great halls of the LoT compound, commented that, 'I hunt the leprechauns in my basement. They are real.' with a wicked glint in his eyes. And seeing the Lady Lot herself CLM walk by, LoTCookie immediately sought her advice. 'In getting ready to chase the lil guy at the end of the rainbow, I would prepare by putting on more than just socks!' she flashed a cheeky smile.
Levellord, member of the newly formed Russian division Infernal Pocket Bibigons, had a particularly interesting idea. 'About lephrecon hunting, I think the best way to find and grab a leprechaun's gold is fishing tackle. We will need one gold coin and one fishing tackle - everybody knows that leprechauns like gold.' He even had a blueprint of his trap.
